"... W-what th-???..."

Took the bike for a spin today. Y'know just to warm up the engine, get the engine oil distributed, keep the fluids fresh, check for kinks, and of course, toy with Manila's finest and their 250cc "pursuit" bikes. I so thank the Lord that only 3% of PNP bike cops actually take the TMG riding course in Crame. At 15k per head, it's no surprise. The course is taught by Japanese bike cops. Those guys use 750cc Honda Deauvilles, and are known to use their bikes like 2-wheeled, 520 pound nightsticks. No kidding.

Anyway, after doing a quick run around Makati, I decided to end the night at a familiar place. When I got there, I found myself swinging out my sidestand, shutting my lights off, and killed the engine with one last rev to keep the engine warm. Looking up, I realized it was SHELL SELECT MAGALLANES. Immediately memories of years past flooded my mind. It was like diving head-first into a pool of Carl's Jr. gravy. Mmmmm... Grraaavvyyy...

I was promptly greeted by Mang Dani, the old chinese-looking guy who works the late shift. Sitting in my favorite spot, which is close to the iced tea machine, I can already hear the echoes of my buddies' laughter. Coy for his odd behavior, X,for always making a complete mess, the Chan bros; for singing like fools, Bren and Chebz for spacing out, Frades, for eating everything, and me, well, for no apparent reason really. Maybe cause I used to drive the parasites there all the damn time.

Oh boy! don't get me started on "Simbang Gabi" Especially when Flip was around. Damn, those were the days. I miss those days man. Back in highschool. The time when summers were sweet, the nights were longer, and the girls were easier-I mean hotter! Yea, that's it. Hotter. Hehehehehe. In highschool, your problems ended at 4pm on a Friday afternoon, and resumed Monday morning, at 8am sharp. Good times.

I oughtta hang with them again. I wonder who's birthday's up next?....

I miss her.

Simply put, I miss Jakie. I'm so happy I get to watch a movie with her tomorrow. Haven't done that in ages. I must see her tomorrow. Everything about her is magic. Her smile, her laughter. So beautiful.

S'been a while...

Ok, huuuge update. Let's try to gather our thoughts...

1. It's 2006. (Thank you, Captain Obvious!!!)

2. I no longer work for Ambergris.

Ok, that'll be it for now. More to come! Hoo-hah!

In your pail...

Jakie's kid sister, Janette taught me something cool a few days ago... I love that kid.

When red and yellow mix together...

You get orange...

Seems sayonara means goodbye

But noone ever told me why

Verse 2

Where our hearts found songs to sing

But Sakura has gone away

And so has our love so they say

Well said, Bobby...

Bobby Brown said this in his song "Good Enough"

..." Cuz if it ain't good enough, good enough, baby
I'll work harder"...

Luv ya Jakie.

I think I'm gonna cry...

Last Friday my girl got me a watch... A WATCH!!! Damn! Nobody's gotten me ANYTHING! This girl never ceases to amaze me. But just between you and me, I'm about to 1 up her gift, man. I'll knock her into next week with this one!

Happy anniversary Jakie, my love!

OMG...

Sting's a freakin' visionary! After hearing this song again after quite some time, I realized how close to home he actually hit.

This is for you Jakie...

"Fields Of Gold"

You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Upon the fields of barley
You'll forget the sun in his jealous sky
As we walk in the fields of gold

So she took her love
For to gaze awhile
Upon the fields of barley
In his arms she fell as her hair came down
Among the fields of gold

Will you stay with me, will you be my love
Among the fields of barley
We'll forget the sun in his jealous sky
As we lie in the fields of gold

See the west wind move like a lover so
Upon the fields of barley
Feel her body rise when you kiss her mouth
Among the fields of gold
I never made promises lightly
And there have been some that I've broken
But I swear in the days still left
We'll walk in the fields of gold
We'll walk in the fields of gold

Many years have passed since those summer days
Among the fields of barley
See the children run as the sun goes down
Among the fields of gold
You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Upon the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in the fields of gold
When we walked in the fields of gold
When we walked in the fields of gold

... Love you, hun!

Bulletproof...

Yo dawgz, peep dis. It's some poem by Pablo Neruda. The guy's sick. When I read this(YES, I ACTUALLY READ NOW! GET OFF MY CASE! Hehehe! Props to my girl, Jakie for making me appreciate reading stuff without pictures. Hehehehe!), I was like "Woa..." That stuff's deep.

"Tonight I Can Write"

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.

Write, for example, 'The night is starry
and the stars are blue and shiver in the distance.'

The night wind revolves in the sky and sings.

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too.

Through nights like this one I held her in my arms.
I kissed her again and again under the endless sky.

She loved me, sometimes I loved her too.
How could one not have loved her great still eyes.

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
To think that I do not have her. To feel that I have lost her.

To hear the immense night, still more immense without her.
And the verse falls to the soul like dew to the pasture.

What does it matter that my love could not keep her.
The night is starry and she is not with me.

This is all. In the distance someone is singing. In the distance.
My soul is not satisfied that it has lost her.

My sight tries to find her as though to bring her closer.
My heart looks for her, and she is not with me.

The same night whitening the same trees.
We, of that time, are no longer the same.

I no longer love her, that's certain, but how I loved her.
My voice tried to find the wind to touch her hearing.

Another's. She will be another's. As she was before my kisses.
Her voice, her bright body. Her infinite eyes.

I no longer love her, that's certain, but maybe I love her.
Love is so short, forgetting is so long.

Because through nights like this one I held her in my arms
my soul is not satisfied that it has lost her.

Though this be the last pain that she makes me suffer
and these the last verses that I write for her.

..... And the best part is..... This poem NO LONGER applies to me. I'm thankful for Jakie in my life. She inspires me to do stuff I can only read about in comics... So yes, I can stick to walls and have claws shoot out of my butt now! Nah, I'm playin'. But y'all know what I mean. So, Jakie, if you can read this, I LOVE YOU BABY!!! I'll teach you how to drive one step at a time, all the way, honey!
